
Dr Isabelle Lucas
Izzy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2016 and has since spent a number of years working at different hospitals across Victoria and the Northern Territory, before commencing her GP training in 2023. She completed a Diploma of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in 2021.
She has a particular passion for all things Women’s health and working collaboratively with women of all ages and cultural backgrounds, to improve their health and overall wellbeing. She is a compassionate doctor who feels strongly about providing evidence-based care, centred in shared decision-making with her patients.
Izzy’s particular interests include (but are not limited to):
- Family planning
- Women’s health checks
- Abnormal bleeding/periods – including endometriosis, PCOM (formerly PCOS)
- Contraception – including IUD and Implanon insertion/removal
- Antenatal care
- Menopause
- Lifestyle medicine, weight management
- Mental health
- Cervical screening
Izzy also provides medical terminations, and iron infusions.
Away from the clinic, Izzy loves surrounding herself with her young family and friends, ideally somewhere in the great outdoors with a bike and tent nearby!
