Dr Anne Stephenson

Dr Anne Stephenson is co-founder of Women’s Health Torquay and her passion lies in empowering and supporting women, girls and non-binary people to take charge of their healthcare.

Dr Anne is known for her compassionate approach, and her patients appreciate that she always puts their well-being first. Dr Anne takes the time to listen to her patient’s concerns and works with them to make informed decisions about their care.

Dr Anne is a Director at Surfcoast Medical Centre, where she has been a GP for over 20 years. Outside of Dr Anne’s clinical work, she is GP Liaison at Epworth Private Hospital and a supervisor for GP registrars. Dr Anne loves teaching a new generation of doctors at Deakin University and writes regular articles for Ausdoc.

When Dr Anne’s not working you’ll find her at the beach, where she confesses she’s “a little bit” obsessed with the ocean and surfing. Dr Anne is married with two teenage daughters and is committed to providing a welcoming and compassionate environment for all women, girls and non-binary people seeking care at Women’s Health Torquay.
